Where does my mind go?

So I really can't believe I haven't posted about this yet! I just received a comment from someone, which triggered my memory and I realized I haven't updated everyone on my mom!

Last week, she went in for her check-up with the oncologist for bloodwork to check cell count and seratonin levels. Apparently these things will tell them if the cancer is still gone or not. Both tests came back completely normal! Yay! What an awesome report to hear! God has been so good concerning that situation. She doesn't have to have another check-up for a year now. So much relief upon hearing that.

Also, my mom and I are going to some sort of girls get together tonight with women from her work, and she will be giving me her camera again so I'll take some pictures of the kids, especially Cade and his cast. It's camo and so cute! He got the permanent one on yesterday, and did really well. He only has to wear it for two more weeks, so that's not bad at all. I can handle two weeks. I'll post more later, he's stuck betweent he couch and end table for the moment and needs "hep".

Two weeks doesn't seem so bad--be sure to take lots of pictures!

Thanks for the update on your Mom!!My name is Cheri. My father-in-law is just ending his harsh chemo and starting to feel better.

The cast sounds cute! When I was working we had an assortment of colors to let the kids choose from.

Kelli - labs are generally a good family dog, usually real mellow and easy going, but, you are right they still need training. Ceasar's show The Dog Whisperer comes on the National Geographic Channel a lot. He uses the same training methods with every dog so if you can catch a few shows you'll get the idea. The main thing is that they need lots of exercise and the right kind of discipline.
