Here is our first picture of our daughter, Avery Grace Hansen. She was born at 9:00 p.m. on January 19th, 2006. She was 13 1/2 inches long, and weighed only 1 lb. 15 oz.! She was one tiny little girl! But she was absolutely beautiful. Right after Dr. McKoy broke my water with Avery, the umbilical cord came out first; it was only because she was so tiny that they let me push instead of doing an emergency c-section like they normally would. What a blessing!
