Here is Twin B, our son Caden Carl Hansen! He was born at 9:10 p.m. on January 19th, 2006. Caden weighed 2 lbs. 8.4 oz. and was 15 inches long. As soon as he was born, they handed him over to Dr. Kaneta, and when they checked his eyes, they wouldn't open. Apparently this is normal in preemies, and their eyes open in a day or two, but we didn't know that. So when Carl walked over to look at him, he heard Dr. Kaneta say, "Oh, this one's eyes aren't open". So Carl thought that Caden didn't have any eyes at all, or if he did that he was blind! :) Dr. Kaneta assured him that he did indeed have eyes, and that he would most likely NOT be blind. (Which he's not!) It's pretty funny now, looking back! :)
